EndNote Tips and Tricks for UVA Users
EndNote ships with 500 popular styles, but there are 1000's more, so your journal is probably covered. To add your favorite journal to your EndNote, use the Style Finder to find your style, then follow the instructions on that page to download and install. (Note that the Style Finder page also provides instructions on how to install all styles, or install styles by category).
Using EndNote while away from your computer and your Endnote Desktop software
You can create an EndNote online account that enables you to work with your EndNote Library through any Web browser. Follow the instructions in this Quick Reference Guide for Online EndNote X9 to set up your online account and add citations, manage citations, and even use Cite While You Write.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you back up your EndNote Library before setting up the syncing process. EndNote tech support experts are happy to walk you through back up and syncing how-to's, depending on your operating system and version of EndNote.
