Information

I received my faculty appointment to the Health Sciences Library in 2010, and have held many different positions of responsibility here, including emerging technology, Head of the now-defunct TEC Team, marketing, and teaching. Currently, my role includes marketing, teaching, and acting as the Library's diversity lead.

I believe that technology empowers people, allowing them to make better decisions and enrich their personal and professional lives. My areas of expertise include:
  • reputation management
  • online identity
  • personal branding
  • the intersections of contemporary issues and healthcare, including:
    • climate change
    • artificial intelligence
    • net neutrality
    • bias
In addition to offering support and instruction for the above topics, I also serve as HSL's Chair of the IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Accessibility) Working Group.
