What is the best way to contact the library?
Please use the Ask Us form. Librarians and subject specialistsare available for remote consultations via phone, email, or online (e.g. Zoom). You can also call the Service Desk at 434-924-5444, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
Can I reserve a study room in the 24 hours space?
All study rooms in the 24 hours space are available without reservations.
Are the Presentation Studio and audio booth available?
The Presentation Studio and the audio booth are available 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. These spaces can be reserved using the room reservation form.
Are you lending headphones, adapters, and chargers?
We are not lending shared equipment of these types during the pandemic.
Are public printers available?
Printers, both color and black & white, are available in the lobby. A Cavalier Advantage machine is also available.
Can I check out a book?
Yes. Our book stacks are open to patrons, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. You can also have the Service Desk retrieve and checkout books for you. To initiate a transaction, locate the book in Virgo and then email the citation to firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of our Service Desk team will make it available to you on a booktruck near the Service Desk.
