The Claude Moore Health Sciences Library is known for providing exemplary services, welcoming spaces, and access to premier scholarly resources. Centrally located in the heart of UVA Health in Charlottesville, the Library is a hub for faculty, staff, and students to connect, collaborate, learn, or consult with professional Library staff.  The Health Sciences Library is a modern and dynamic library, supporting patrons at primary medical facilities, regional clinics, classrooms, home offices, coffee shops, or anywhere affiliates choose to do their work.    

Donor generosity plays a significant role in the Health Sciences Library’s ability to support quality patient care, innovative education, cutting-edge research, and engagement with the community.  In addition to providing access to electronic resources and databases, giving to the Library supports specialized needs such as state-of-the-art learning environments, emerging technologies, inclusive and welcoming spaces, and capturing the institutional and historical record of UVA Health.

Claude Moore Health Sciences Library Annual Fund. Donations to the Library’s Annual Fund will provide current use resources for the Library to meet day-to-day operating needs.  

Claude Moore Health Sciences Library Endowment Fund.  Donations to the Library’s General Endowment Fund will grow over time and have a lasting impact on the Library and the lives of all who use, and benefit from, its resources.   

Special Projects.  Donations to special projects can support the Library's collections, professional services, space upgrades, technology, or historical collections.  Your contribution can be tailored to support your specific philanthropic goals.  Please contact the Library to discuss them.
