The Capstone will consist of taking a PICO question, searching the literature, summarizing results, and placing that info on a poster.

Step 1: To ensure you find evidence, please pick one of the questions from the attached list.

• Minor modifications to the questions can be made to increase relevance to your practice area, but doing so may result in a difficulty to find evidence (articles). If you change your question and cannot find relevant literature, please revert back to the original question so you can still practice this process.

Step 2: Please use the "Searching the Literature" tab on the left side of this page to help conduct your literature search.

Step 3: Use the poster template to input your question, background info, search strategies and databases used, as well as three articles.

When looking for articles, start in some of the bigger bibliographic databases such as Pubmed, CINAHL, or Cochrane Library. Remember to identify keyword terms for the elements of your chosen question and add them together with Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to find relevant articles. Make use of database filters too.

Remember, you need three articles at minimum, so ask your librarian if you get stuck and need help.
