Health Sciences Library's IDEA Statement

The UVA Health Sciences Library is committed to fostering an environment that supports scholarship at the highest level and lifelong learning. In this pursuit we aspire to create a culture of engagement, belonging and trust through our ASPIRE values. We embrace equity in the broadest sense, as a means to promote fairness, opportunity, and inclusion to ensure that every person who needs our resources, services, and spaces finds them universally accessible.

LIBGUIDES

LibGuides is both an online creation platform and what the products made with it are called. While the Health Sciences Library creates guides on a wide range of healthcare-related topics, the guides listed on this page are relevant to groups and issues affected by inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility.

Do you have suggestions for other IDEA-related guides that we should create? If so, please reach out to Kimberley R. Barker (Kimberley@virginia.edu).

Inclusive Language Guidelines
