Overview
The University of Virginia’s Claude Moore Health Sciences Library is seeking proposals from qualified web design firms to redesign and update our existing website, guides.hsl.virginia.edu. Our goal is to modernize the look and feel of the site, improve navigation and usability, and showcase the library's programs, space, and services.
Scope of Work
The selected firm will work closely with library staff to:
Conduct discovery interviews to understand our goals, audience, content needs, and brand
Create 2-3 initial design concepts for review
Develop final visual html/css design comps built using the SpringShare bootstrap-compatible framework for all key pages including (department level & a historical template).
Become familiar with UVA Health Brand Standards and incorporate those standards into the design concepts
Work with our IT team to implement the new design in LibGuides
Ensure ADA compliance for accessibility
Timeline
We will select a design firm by February 15, 2024. The initial discovery and design phase should be completed by May of 2024 for a launch before the first class begins, ideally the first week of July.

Examples of three recent web design projects
Project timeline and budget
Any additional information about your firm's capabilities
