Take advantage of in-person workshops, self-paced online courses, video tutorials, or online books or one-on-one consultations when available. UVa offers a number of resources to help you learn various software programs beyond what is offered in the Health Sciences Library.
(Bioconductor, MySQL, Galaxy, Oncomine, Ingenuity Pathway Analysis, Gene Set Enrichment Analysis, pathway databases (Gene Ontology, KEGG, etc.), genomics resources (UCSC, Ensembl), genomics tools (bowtie, tophat, cufflinks, limma, bioconductor, plink, gatk, picard, galaxy, DESeq, R, eigenstrat, locuszoom, etc).
