Welcome SOM Class of 2027!

The Medical School Class of 2027 was officially welcomed to the Health Sciences Library on Wednesday, August 2nd.  Every hour a new College of students arrived to receive a virtual tour of the library, be fitted for their white coats by the Medical Alumni Association and learn about some artifacts from Historical Collections hosted by our new curator, Meggan Cashwell.  Refreshments were also provided.   

It was a team effort, coordinated by our Medical Education Librarian, Karen Knight. Karen was pleased that the new class is so friendly and engaging.  She looks forward to helping them with their information and research needs throughout their time at UVA.
