Cold Spring Harbor Protocols

Cold Spring Harbor Protocols is a monthly journal. Its coverage includes many areas of basic sciences including genetics, cell and molecular biology, protein science, bioinformatics, and imaging. The database is fully searchable by keyword and subject.

Current Protocols

Current Protocols is a collection of updatable step-by-step, reproducible laboratory methods. UVA currently subscribes to two titles: Cell Biology and Molecular Biology.

JoVE Biology

JoVE publishes peer-reviewed, PubMed-indexed high-quality video demonstrations and detailed text protocols that facilitate scientific reproducibility and productivity. The scope of the JoVE includes novel techniques, innovative applications of existing techniques, and gold standard protocols in the physical and life sciences.

Nature Protocols

Nature Protocols is an online journal of laboratory protocols for bench researchers.

Springer Protocols

One of the largest subscription-based laboratory protocols in biomedical sciences, containing nearly 31,000 peer-reviewed protocols. Approximately 2,000 new protocols are added each year. New content is added daily.
