Publication Impact Services
We provide expert consultations to UVA Health System faculty, departments, and groups (including SOM and SON) on measuring your scholarship through bibliometrics, "alternative" metrics, and visualization. From a list of PMIDs, a topic, or an author id (e.g ORCID), we can help you:
- demonstrate impact of published works for promotion and tenure using Web of Science/JCR data
- measure or assess research impact through "altmetrics"
- manage or track publications, e.g. through an ORCID profile
- maintain an impactful online identity

| Impact Factor |
The journal Impact Factor is the average number of times a journal's articles have been cited, over the previous two years. For example, the 2022 Impact Factor for a journal is equal to citations in 2022 to items published in that journal in 2020 and 2021, divided by the number of items published by that journal in 2020 and 2021 |
