Our services include individual consultations to allow you to get focused assistance on specific data questions, and workshops to help you learn novel data analysis techniques and software.

More Data Services located at the Health Sciences Library
The Health Sciences Library hosts data and research computing consultants to provide free consulting services for all researchers in the Health System, including research staff, clinical staff (residents, nurses, clinicians), and students (medical, nursing, BIMS).
Visit the consultants during the dates and times listed below, at the Research Services desk in the MILL area on the lower level of the Health Sciences Library (turn right at the bottom of the stairs).

A full range of tools and services to meet your clinical data needs, including Clinical Data Repository (CDR) support, dashboard development, integration of project data and data from existing systems (e.g. Epic), data modeling, patient registries, business intelligence.
UVA Research Computing supports computational research by providing advanced cyber-infrastructure and expertise in data analysis at scale for UVA faculty, staff and students. They offer services and free workshops related to high performance computing, cloud architecture, scientific programming and big data solutions.
Need more research assistance? The UVA PHS provides fee-based Consulting & Collaboration Support to assist researchers with study design, data analysis, statistical graphics, outcomes and comparative effectiveness research, data base development and management and other multidisciplinary analytical services, such as evaluation methods, surveys and community engagement strategies. Charges are on an hourly rate basis.
The Bioinformatics Core in the School of Medicine provides expert and timely bioinformatics consulting and data analysis solutions to UVa and non-UVa investigators on both grant-funded and chargeback based projects for management and analysis of large-scale biological datasets produced by high-throughput genomics experiments.
Computation And Data Resource Exchange (CADRE) is a UVa-wide exchange designed to simplify the process of finding local research technology solutions. The CADRE website provides a comprehensive list of the software, services, training opportunities, storage solutions, and computational hardware available to UVa scholars. UVA Library's consultation services at the Brown Science and Engineering Library, including the StatLab (data analysis and statistics), research software, data management, and data discovery. Office hours each semester, or by appointment.
UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) provides information on storage, including options for large files, images, videos and critical data. in addition, they provide guidance and resources for databases, physical and virtual servers, and backup.
